Red, White and Blue Fourth of July Sparkling Strawberries

Red, White, and Blue Sparkling Strawberries

These Sparkling Strawberries look fabulous on any party table. The White Chocolate paired with the Strawberries make this a great reason to celebration anything!

Ingredients:

White Chocolate (Baking Chocolate or Chocolate Chips works fine) or Almond Bark.
1/2 Tsp Vegetable Oil
Fresh Strawberries

Directions:

Just melt some white chocolate (either baking chocolate, or chocolate chips works fine) or almond bark.  If you’re using white chocolate, add 1/2 tsp vegetable oil to every 1/2 cup diced chocolate or chips to make dipping easier. (You’ll need approximately ½ cup per 15 strawberries)

Make sure your berries are dry and give them a dunk in the White Chocolate. Then dip in blue colored sugar (see easy recipe below).

Colored Salt

Colored Sugar

You’ll need:

Plastic Bags
Food Color
Sugar  (Granulated for smaller crystal or Raw Sugar for larger crystals)

Directions:

Place one cup of sugar in resealable plastic bag. Add 5 drops of food color for pale colors. Add more food color, a drop or two at a time, if more intense color is desired. Seal bag and knead gently until color is evenly distributed.

Spread in a thin layer on a baking sheet and break up any large lumps. Allow to dry thoroughly, about 15 to 20 minutes. Sift or press through sieve to return sugar to its original texture, if needed.

And there you go, cute as can be!

Serving size: Five Strawberries per guest
Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
