Whiskey With Brandied Cherries
Nothing like Brandied Cherries and the warming of Bourbon Whiskey to bring out some holiday cheer in you.
This cocktail is a favorite of our Chef, Opie. A twist on the Old Fashion by adding a taste of Carmel and switching out the ususal Maraschino Cherry with a brandied one.
Enjoy this one cozying up around the fireplace!
Ingredients:
2.5 oz Bourbon Whiskey
3–4 Drops Angostura Bitters
1.5 tsp Carmel Syrup
4 Brandied Cherries
Directions:
Place carmel and bitters in the bottom of an old-fashioned glass. Add 1 brandied cherry and muddle ingredients together in bottom of glass. Fill glass halfway with ice. Add Bourbon Whiskey and stir. Garnish with remaining brandied cherries.
